The Results Of The Survey Performed By The Patient Group
The surgery takes the views and needs of our patients seriously and have had patients representatives meet with the practice for many years to discuss them. This has since been formalised into a patient reference group with a chair-person and 2 vice-chairs.
Our key aims are:
- Improving overall health care within the new system and helping the practice to provide the best possible individual patient care.
- To promote much more patient involvement in the practice, and to listen to, and feedback patient views and concerns about their health care issues.
- To learn from other practices about new ideas and ways of improving patient care.
- To encourage Hardwick Clinical Commissioning Group and the providers of care, to always put patients first. Health care must above all, be about patients.
Group Activities: Regular meetings with patients, doctors and practice staff, at the Surgery (Patient Participation Group meetings). Regular meetings with Hardwick Clinical Commissioning Group representatives (Patient Reference Group meetings). From time to time assisting the practice with various projects, for example the annual patient questionnaire.
